During the Trip
Q: What is the baggage allowance?
A: This depends on the airline used for your specific tour. Typically, for full-service airlines (like Singapore Airlines or Turkish Airlines), it is 25kg–30kg for check-in and 7kg for hand-carry. Please refer to your specific itinerary for details.
Q: Are tips/gratuities included in the tour price?
A: Usually, tipping for the tour guide and driver is not included in the package price and is collected separately. The recommended amount will be stated in your itinerary (e.g., USD or Euro per day).
Q: Do you offer travel insurance?
A: Travel insurance is not included in our base fare, and we choose not to sell optional insurance packages to safeguard your Islamic values.
Avoiding Unlawful Investments: Most major commercial insurers pool customer premiums and invest them into interest-bearing instruments or non-Shariah-compliant businesses.
Prohibition of Interest (Riba): Insurance transactions inherently involve trading money for unequal amounts of money over time, which constitutes usury.
Elements of Gambling (Maysir): Paying a premium for a payout that depends entirely on a game of chance or an uncertain event is viewed as a form of gambling.
Extreme Uncertainty (Gharar): Islamic law forbids transactions where a buyer pays for a service they may never actually receive, leaving the contract highly unpredictable.
Upholding Ethical Boycotts: By withholding premiums from these corporate systems, we adhere to the Quranic command to “cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:2).
Avoiding these packages ensures your premiums do not inadvertently support unethical global investments that fund oppression or conflict
(ie Oppression on Palestine).
Preventing Complicity in Harm: Many prominent global insurers heavily invest in defense contractors, surveillance systems, and corporations that fund military aggression and the loss of innocent lives in places like Palestine.
