For your first Umrah, our standard advice is for wheelchair users to join our dedicated wheelchair group, guided closely by an experienced Mutawwif.

If you are able and have the affordability then it is compulsory for you to perform Haji instead of delegating it to someone on your behalf.

Badal Hajj (Hajj al-Badal) is the act of performing the Hajj pilgrimage on behalf of another Muslim who is permanently unable to perform it themselves.

Who it can be performed for:
- It is strictly for someone who has passed away, or someone who is alive but chronically incapacitated (such as severe old age or an incurable physical illness) with no hope of ever being able to travel.
- It cannot be done for someone who is simply too poor or too busy.

Who must perform it (The Proxy):
- The person performing the Badal Hajj on behalf of your loved one must have already completed their own obligatory Hajj first.

For the Deceased:
- Fulfill the obligation of those who have passed.

For the Incapacitated:
- For those permanently unable to travel due to age or illness.
