Description

North Island Magic: Caves, Hobbits & Culture
Your adventure begins in Auckland, the "City of Sails," before journeying into the heart of the North Island. Experience the underground magic of the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, where thousands of tiny lights illuminate the limestone grotto. Step into Middle-earth with a visit to the Hobbiton Movie Set in Matamata, seeing the Green Dragon Inn and Hobbit holes firsthand. The journey continues to Rotorua, a geothermal wonderland of bubbling mud pools and geysers, where you will immerse yourself in authentic Maori culture with a traditional Hangi dinner and performance.

South Island Splendour: Fjords & Alpine Peaks
Fly down to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world, set against the shores of Lake Wakatipu. The highlight of the South Island is a scenic journey to Milford Sound, where you will board a nature cruise to witness cascading waterfalls, rainforests, and wildlife in one of the world’s most stunning fiords. Back in Queenstown, enjoy leisure time to ride the Skyline Gondola, cruise on the vintage TSS Earnslaw, or explore historic Arrowtown.

Majestic Mountains to the Garden City
The final leg of your trip takes you through the rugged Mackenzie Basin to Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, home to New Zealand's highest peak. Visit the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre for a 3D cinematic experience and Planetarium show. On your way to Christchurch, stop at Lake Tekapo to view the solitary Church of the Good Shepherd against a backdrop of turquoise waters and Southern Alps, concluding your grand tour in the garden city of Christchurch before your flight home.
