Fulfill Your Qurban: A Journey of Closeness and Charity
What is Qurban?
Derived from the Arabic root meaning "to get close," Qurban (Korban) is a profound act of worship performed to draw nearer to Allah (SWT). It is a time-honored tradition that combines spiritual devotion with social responsibility.
The Ritual
This act involves the slaughtering of livestock—specifically goats, sheep, cows, or camels—during the blessed days of Eid-ul-Adha and the three days of Tashriq (11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah).
The Significance of Your Sacrifice
A Pure Act of Ibadah: Performed voluntarily with the sole intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT).
Honoring a Legacy: We commemorate the unwavering submission of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his willingness to sacrifice his beloved son, Ismail (AS), before Allah replaced the sacrifice with a ram.
Empowering the Community: Your contribution serves as vital charity. By distributing meat to the poor and needy, you bring joy and nourishment to the Ummah.
"So pray to your Lord and sacrifice (to Him alone)." — Al-Qur’an 108:2 (Al-Kawthar)
